Our approach
Nobiru is built local-first. Your training data is created and stored on your device, and only syncs to our servers so you can pick up where you left off across devices. We collect as little as possible and never sell your data.
Local-first by design. We collect the minimum we need to run your account and sync your progress — and never sell it.

Account details: when you sign up we use Clerk to manage authentication, which stores your email and basic profile.
Training data: quests, sessions, XP, stats, and progress you log. This lives on your device first and is synced to our database so you don't lose it.
Billing data: if you upgrade to Pro, payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
To run your account, sync your progress, generate your coaching reports and share cards, and process subscriptions. We use aggregate, non-identifying usage signals to improve the product.
Share cards are generated on your device. Privacy modes let you blur your name and numbers before you export, so you only ever post what you're comfortable with. We do not auto-post anything on your behalf.
We rely on a small set of trusted providers to operate: Clerk (authentication), Neon (database hosting), and Stripe (payments). Each processes only the data needed to provide their service.
You can export or delete your data and close your account at any time from Settings. Deleting your account removes your synced records from our database.
Nobiru provides fitness guidance, not medical advice. It is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13.
